extra lite letour

Saw one on e-bay for 175.00 don't know what year but according to the seller its in good shape. It looks pretty good in the pictures. Is that a fair price? There is also a supersport on e-bay too but I know that one would be a candidate for a color chang too its a pink / lavender looking thing doesn't look to bad either. I would put in the link but don't know how. I'll take instructions on how to do it

I think that price sounds very high. "Xtra lite" on le tours means a 1020 frame.

It's in nice condition, but a little pricey for what it is. You can do better for the money I think. It also has the notorious late 70's peeling decals.,,,,BD

Not saying it's a bad bike, but....

Bikes: Mostly English - predominantly Raleighs

That doesn't look like one of the 4130 tubed models (like the nice one I'm about ready to put up for sale for about the same price).

I've a LeTour III 1020 tubed bike in primo condition on CL now for $100. I'll soon be listing a Super LeTour (1020) in equally good condition for just a bit more.

Well, my personal opinion on the SS would be to leave it alone if you hate the color. It's in equally
good condition, and would be a shame to repaint it on a whim. That is one of the nicer Super Sports
as well. Should be a very nice rider like my Tempo and Prelude.,,,,BD
