No kidding - it's a joke, particularly as they don't even send you a copy of those papers that they got the info off of.

The serial of my 1970 Paramount is "E7009", (fifth of May, 1970).

And for the record, my '61 Paramount P-12 is F54. At least I'm clear on the model number of this one.

Tell you what - how about a three-way $16 split on the $50 cost. Did you say you were curious, Mr. Hufford?

-Kurt

P.S. to Pastor Bob:

How about '60s Paramounts?

P-13. I believe the chrome lugs, "special chrome trim" make it the P-13.

Mr. Hufford has empty pockets -- and a couple of "free" bikes that I still need to get shipped.

Sorry ...

Bob, you're a prince. There it is on the 1970 Paramount Order Form: "Campagnolo side-pull caliper brakes ($50.00 extra cost)"

In actuality, it's a first marriage for both between a 60 year old bride and a 64 year old groom. How sweet is that?

PB - No hurry! My wife is aware of the '66 Violet SS from Minty Boxy -- she doesn't know about Mr. Hood as of yet. I've got to keep the bikes spaced out a bit and I've got five in the last few weeks! (I typically only get one or two in a year)

I'd better get at least one out the door first ...

Five in one week!?! You sound like me coming home from the dump. BTW there's not been anything worth while there since the Robin Hood and the Lime Varsity.

Coppertone is a keeper! Although the chromeys always look very sweet. Wait until you see my Dr.Deltron Candy Red Super Sport. I believe it will simply be pentecostal.
