Campagnolo Brake Experts, please chime in!
I have a few questions for the Campagnolo brake experts.
1. I have a pair of drilled brake levers with white hoods that have the "shield" logo on them. I believe that they are from the Victory group but someone told me they are Super Record. I don't remember seeing white hoods for Super Record.
2. I am thinking of using these levers with Centaur skeleton calipers on my 83 Colnago Super retro-rod I am building. The calipers do not have a quick-release and I am wondering if there is enough room on the cable adjuster to open them up far enough to clear the tire for wheel removal.
3. I have been offered 4 NOS Delta calipers. None of them have brake shoes or holders. Three of them do not have the front alloy cover. One pair has the curved scissor mechanism and the other pair has the straight mechanism. They are asking $30 for a pair or $50 for both pairs. Deal or No deal?
Thanks

I don't recall the white hoods being offered for SR so can't comment on that.
If the skeleton calipers don't have QR you might look for the delta levers which had
the quick release as an alternative.
Good deal? sure. I'd buy into that if you don't want both sets.

Get all the Deltas. Those things bring a RIDICULOUS amount of money.

What logo is on the front of the levers? If it's a shield logo winged-wheel deal, then they're likely Victory. SR would have the box outline with the point at the bottom with "CAMPAGNOLO" written vertically inside.
