double take at Walgreens today
So I'm walking down one of the aisles at the local Walgreens and I see a bicycle cable/lock combo. Nothing exciting, then I see the picture on the cardboard thats attached to the cable. Its a picture of Jim Rossi on his track bike at the Northbrook Velodrome. Picture has to be 40 years old. Jim Rossi was National sprint champion and Olympic team member in the 60's. I think he also was a speedskating champ. Nothing on the packaging notes who the picture is. Just an odd thing to see an old pic of a one time awesome sprinter on packaging, 40 years after his accomplishments. But still darn cool to see at Walgreens.

Bikes: Giant Excursion, Raleigh Sports, Raleigh R.S.W. Compact, Motobecane? and about 20 more! OMG
Probably not, I have seen a lot of stuff coming out of China with some blatant trademark infringement on it. Then again it may be old enough that it is considered public domain.
