If you know someone who has had photos stolen and used by this clown here is what you do. Register the copyright on the image - about $40 and filling out a form - then sue him for copyright infringement.

You can legally sue him for lost revenue on the image and since it was used on a website there are set fees for image use.

Sure; she's on the west coast!
Lots of us older folks have picked up interesting bits of knowledge on this 'long, strange trip'.

I have to confess that my experience with more esoteric drugs is nil .

I just thought it was odd that someone in Argentina would have a name like 'Alex Shulgin', so a bit of googling revealed that Alex Shulgin was the inventor of Ecstasy. Which makes perfect sense for loki7records, who claims to be a professional DJ in Buenos Aires.

There's a lot of this same BS going on with cameras. I've seen dozens of ads for Canon 3, 4, 5, 6, and 800mm lenses (these are giant lenses with prices in the thousands) that are bogus listings. Usually someone complains but sometimes not. You need to know your stuff, and apply some logic to the claims stated in the listings. This group is very good at sniffing out the BS in bike listings.

does anyone know about ebay seller "cyclustoolsusa"? He (they?) have about 20 vintage cycle items posted up there, zero feedback. They answered a tech question I had about one of the items, but will not reply when I ask about their lack of feedback. So I guess I'm not bidding.

Lack of feedback on a seller who has only been an eBay member since November 5, 2007 (10 days) wouldn't necessarily disuade me from bidding. We all had to start sometime.

Looks like your trap for the seller hasn't quite worked yet. Check out https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=001

and

https://www.bikecult.com/works/archiv...estoneXO1.html.

Evidently, the scammer is now using yui0987 as an ID and yuiop7980@yahoo.com as an email address, but the MO is the same.

I tried to politely drop a line to "winning bidder" but received a note from ebay saying my attempt to contact was blocked as I might be sending spam.......I tried.

Scammer at it again:

He's trying to sell the same Bridgestone again:

https://cgi.ebay.com/1985-bridgestone...QQcmdZViewItem

Yet another Bikeworks NY photo ( https://www.bikecult.com/works/archive03.html )

https://cgi.ebay.com/1996-indigo-road...QQcmdZViewItem

And ANOTHER Bikeworks NY photo ( https://www.bikecult.com/works/archive06.html )

https://cgi.ebay.com/1990-racing-bicy...QQcmdZViewItem

The '1990 racing bicycle' is 'located in Fresno', the other two bikes are 'located in Chicago'.

He's also auctioning a lot of 'GI Joes'.

"My email yui7980@yahoo.com just in case i cant access my ebay account."

LOOP7531 no longer has a registered eBay account...

Bikes: Crap. The box is not big enough...

that 21 speed freewheel cassette helps him to get around like greased lightning. I can't imagine the dish on that poor wheel, though.

someone should reserve eBayScammers.com.

I doubt there will be any feedback as the scammer will just delete this account once the money is in the bank. Or is that not how it works? I guess the feedback will all be negative, eBay will investigate but by the time they track this account down, the scammer will be at least one week ahead of them ie: safe.

Ebay has to change the way they do business pretty soon, the scammers are taking over. I think the USD keys are a good way to go but how long will it be until those get hacked?

I know that the previous account is 'no longer registered'. I suppose that eBay will do nothing until so many customers leave that only the scammers are left.
