It's an 84. I believe all 3V's except for maybe the "Teams" were built in Italy.

Purchased my LeMond Buenos Aires new in the spring of 2005… C&V yet!? One early-on replacement with frame warranty later, this one still rides like a dream!

If you don't mind me asking, what was the warranty issue? I have a Versailles frame from the same era, hence my curiosity.

The drive side seat stay seemed to spontaneously combust, splitting in half pretty cleanly across its width under moderate load as I rode out of my driveway. Quite a surprise, but I appreciated the timing. It occurred I believe in the first, possibly second, year of ownership and was chalked up to a carbon fiber manufacturing flaw.

I’ve been riding and loving the replacement for decades now (with some extra pounds on me) with no issues.

I'm testing a photo link generator, so I thought I'd might as well post something here :)

Is that carbon tubes and aluminum screwed and glued? I don't know much about Look.

I love how the bike/build is both strangely chunky and svelte all at the same time.

LOOK KG171, They were just workhorse bikes that the ONCE team used, before switching to Giant.

'90/91 Holdsworth frame with SRAM red goodies and other "modern" goodies. Frame and Tange headset are the only things original.
