Mercier ID
Hi, I've been lurking the forums for a while, but I was hoping to post asking some questions about a Mercier frame I've come across. It's silver, and as far as identifying markings go, the fork crown is stamped with and "Mercier" written under it. It's vitus 888 tubing. I'll try and get some photos, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything...

The Merciers I remember from the 70s followed lines similar to Peugeots; ie, they had one or two that were top of the line French (for what that's worth!), and everything else was nothing worth writing home about.
