Colnago ID help

so i have read most of the master x id posts and i still dont have an idea of what my bike is. it has been repainted, in a classy way, and the tube decal is gone.
it has the three point chrome lugs, stamped COLNAGO on the BB, all tubes are round, straight blade chrome fork, C and clover stamped on the seat tube/top tube lug as well as the BB lug, round brake bridge, chrome stays, and a 3L214 serial number on the drop out. tubes have no special shape to them. thought it was a master XL, but i dont think it is. i did see it before it got painted and it said DECOR forward on the top tube. and it also had the signature towards the back. thought it may be a technos but tube shape is dif i think.
see photos.
i want the lightest steel frame so i think i may buy a new Master XL.
any help is appreciated!

Bikes: '39 Hobbs, '58 Marastoni, '73 Italian custom, '75 Wizard, '76 Wilier, '78 Tom Kellogg, '79 Colnago Super, '79 Sachs, '81 Masi Prestige, '82 Cuevas, '83 Picchio Special, '84 Murray-Serotta, '85 Trek 170, '89 Bianchi, '90 Bill Holland, '94 Grandis

Pics would help, of course. But I will say that if you want the lightest steel frame, you might want to find something TIG welded with True Temper S3.

Sorry, but I'm not joining another site just to look at pics of your bike.

Roadbikereview is a decent site, not as good as C&V, but worth joining.

I can't figure out the issues with your pictures. If you want the lightest steel frame, though, you don't want a colnago, you probably want a Don Walker from Texas. They rock and they are as light as anything I have seen...

My best guess would be a Superissimo. You didn't get a gander at the tubing decal perchance? Does that bike have an oversize downtube?
Number two guess would be Elegant (maybe EL-OS - i.e. a full oversize tubeset?)
My hunch is that "Decor" refers to the paint, i.e. some type of special scheme/finish or set of fancy paint options (the kind of stuff Colnago is/was known for), as it seems to have appeared on a variety of models.

tube diameter

top tube OD is 26mm seat tube is about 29mm and down tube is 32mm. i guess the down tube is bit over sized. there is no change in shape though.
i will research your ideas.
thank you!

research

good guesses. it is one of the two. i just dont think i remember there being any technos decals on it before it was painted. from what i can find, the superissimo didnt have decals besides colnago.
oh well. i love the way it rides, thats why i bought it. not for what the name was. funny. i used to make fun of the original owner for always talking up his fancy euro trash, over priced italian bike. then i rode it. i bugged him for over a year to buy it. it had three years of rack dust on it! he caved.

thanks again fro your help!
