Late 80's Pinarello TT frame (funny bike)
I was curious of the value of the frame, if it is worth building up and the time. It has the original fork, dura-ace headset, and front 650 wheel. The frame is made of columbus matrix tubing and is in good shape no dings or other structural damage, but paint and decals are shot. Is it worth putting money into getting a rear wheel and crank, I have some other parts already. Was is a good amout to put into a it. Just looking for some input and help before I make a decision.
Thanks,
Gregg
Thanks,
Gregg

Does it have curved tubes? If it does, it is worth more, from what I have seen on ebay. I saw a minty fresh bianchi krono go for 400 for f/f. You could probably sell it to the fixie crowd for about 250-350.
the cost of an accurate repaint would be about 250 or so, right?

this must be the one on boston craigslist.
Was considering it myself. But my concern is the finish is destroyed, which reduces its collective value.
Factoring in the cost to restore and to replace the missing parts, for a bike you can't enjoy riding on any occasion, made me pass on it.
