Vintage MTB rim help

I did a search and came up empty. Anyone have any experience with Wolber MTB rims. I've heard some of the Wobbler jokes so please spare me. I'm looking at picking up a complete set of wheels for a vintage project. The rims are Wolber, AT-18's. Google pretty much came up empty also. Any help would be appreciated. Anyone have anything to add that can help out cs1?

With all the views this post had, I was kind of surprised that no one had any info either.

I'd sure like to think with all those vintage bike experts out there someone can help. I guess if it isn't Campy, no one knows. LOL

I dunno what to say - um, I know what wolber is; however, the original poster is asking if I have any of these and I don't. apparently, and not suprisingly, no one else has any in their stash either...

They came stock on the 1990 Cannondale SM2000, all Shimano XT. I'd say they were probably high-end or near it.

Here's a review of spokes, laced to these rims. No reports of the rims collapsing:

Do you know German? A Google search yields quite a few German language web hits.

Sorry, no first hand experience.

Thanks junkyard, you came up with pretty much the same thing I did too. Nothing really conclusive on the actual rims themselves. I found a nice set of Deore hubs laced to set of those rims. Seeing as they were the correct vintage, I was going to use them on a project. Thanks for the reply.
