Denti info?
Anyone out there familiar with Denti/Mino Denti stuff. I picked up a Denti Road Tech Five when I was in Italy over the summer. It has Pre 1987 Dura Ace, so I' assuming it is an early 80's model. No info online about this particular bike, so any knowledge would be greatly appreciated. The company still exists in a modern mass production kinda way, but nothing on their older, artisan stuff. Thanks in advance. Jason

Dunno - there are a few pics on the web - but the odd part to me is the name. Would you shell out big cash for your new "Teeth" Tech Five? I dunno - maybe the bike company was founded by Mr. Teeth...The one featured at BikeCult.com looks to be a very well made one; yours is dressed in an expensive parts ensemble; I'd betcha its a good one.
Could you post up a few pics for the bike pic ho's here?

Yeah, it's odd that the name is in English, rather than Italian. It is most certainly a very high quality ride for the vintage. I'll slap a couple pics up in the next day or two.

Ressurecting this post. I picked up a track frame today at a local shop that said it was a Denti.
I know most of their bikes had a ladybug stamped in one of the lugs. This one does not. What
it does have is Columbus Gilco Crimped tubing. Someone stripped the bike down and spraypainted
it black (and did a horrible job). I'm planning on restoring the frame but would like to confirm that
I'm restoring it to the right bike. Denti info is pretty limited on the innanet...any of you nerds know
anything more about these than what has previously been posted on BF? I can post photos of the
craftsmanship if it helps.

ok, so in my haste and busy schedule i didn't have time to snap some photos
before I dropped the frame off to be painted (white for now, until I confirm what
and who this bike really is). the only thing I find stamped on the bike is the frame
size, which is stamped into the bottom of the bottom bracket shell. Does anyone
have a list of companies who once used crimped columbus tubing...besides the
more common frame builders such as Colnago and Rossin?
Any help is rewarded with eternal gratitude. Thanks

In the late 80's I raced with a guy who rode Mino-Denti. I remember it had ladybugs on it, but I don't remember if the were stamped. His frame had crimped tubing, but also the seat tube was shaped so the rear wheel could tuck in. It had crazy tight goemetry. The paint job was a multi-color fade. His is the only one I have ever seen.

You might want to get in touch with the builders. They're still in business.
