raleigh serial number queation
got a beat raleigh. serial is NB5204689 It is a 52cm frame. white with black stickers. It looks like a gran prix, but I'm not sure. it has wrap around seat stays and a rear centerpull brake arch. the fork is chrome half painted. had cottered cranks with that little raliegh stamp on them, a simplex prestige rear mech and a shimano GTO thunderbird front mech. no date codes on either the railleurs or the cranks. (no other parts). Fancy lugs on the head and seat cluster, but stamped drops. my guess would be early 70s like 1972 if I had to put my money down.

According to the chart below, it's a Feb. 1975 Nottingham-made bike.
According to the 1976 catalog, one Grand Prix color scheme was white with black panels.
