Imitative of a style, consciously derivative. i.e. PT crusers and new Beetles are Retro. The new Schwinn Madison is arguably a "retro" bike, the originals are not, neither are my '70 Gitane, '84 Cinelli, or '85 Pinarello. Please don't refer to them as such.
