3 speed question
I have a shimano 3 speed hub with a broken shifter. Anyone know where I can find a new one? are S/A shifters indexed the same? or do I need to find a shimano. The wheel is from the early 80s.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I don't think a Sturmey Archer shifter will work for you.I have a few spare Shimano thumb shifters,I think I can spare one.You pay the shipping and it's yours.

I forget which is which, but one pulls the same amount of cable for each click, and the other one pulls more as you go from the first to the last click. So, no, they are not interchangable.
