Schwinn Ontare

Does anyone know much about the Ontare, Schwinn's first aluminum bike out of their Greenville, MS plant with aluminum technology licensed from Klein? It was only offered for one year in 1988 before a legal challenge forced a name change to the 974. Is anyone still riding this model? Any comments on it's performace? Thanks!

Bikes: '75 Schwinn Paramount P-10, '86 Ritchey Commando, '87 Schwinn Cimarron, '91 Trek 990, '87 Schwinn High Sierra, '73 Schwinn Super Sport, '4? Schwinn New World, '76 Swing Bike.

Actually, it was originally named the Avion and a legal challenge to that name changed it to Ontare. Then they went to the numbering system.
