Paramount tubular rims

What were the schwinn approved rims that were used? I have a P-14 with tubulars that are gold anodized and no stickers, so I don't have a clue what they are. I'd like to have another pair, for a couple of reasons, but don't know what to look for.
Thanks for any info.

What year is your Paramount? Knowing the year will help narrow down which ones. I've seen Mavic red labels and Schwinn Approved at various times.

Would those gold tubulars be OEM?

According to what I could look up quickly they used 330 gram Schwinn approved rims. I know in 1972 they used Weinmans. Roger

This only helps a little. I doubt that gold ones were original.

Bikes: Mostly English - predominantly Raleighs

Ambrosio Medalle d'oro's?

What were some other gold anodized rims?

Mavic produced several models including OR7 and OR10 (Record du Monde de l'heure), Super Champion produced a gold Arc en Ciel.

I guess I worded my question poorly. I'm not trying to find gold rims, just something that would be appropriate for that time period.

Rims

OK. I'm trying to bump this thread. All I want to know is, what rim I should be looking for, I don't care about the gold, I either have a very rare bike, or the former owner liked gold.
All I am asking is, what tubular rims came on a 76 Paramount?

If you look at my link above in post 7, you can mostly tell that they were silver colored rims, and were probably branded "Schwinn Approved." Most likely they were made by Mavic, Wobler, or Weinmann.

An ebay search using "vintage tubular rim" yielded these possibilities;

These in 36 holes;

https://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Pair-MAV...QQcmdZViewItem

or

https://cgi.ebay.com/Nisi-VINTAGE-NOS...QQcmdZViewItem

or these in 32 holes;

https://cgi.ebay.com/Ambrosio-Formula...QQcmdZViewItem

or these in 28 holes;

https://cgi.ebay.com/MAVIC-RED-LABEL-...QQcmdZViewItem

I hope this is helpful. While not specifically answering your question, it does give you something to begin looking for.

I had Weinmann's on my Paramont track bike back in 75 (bike was a 73)..... I believe they were stock from the LBS I brought it from.
