Peugeot 103: help with identification

Hello all. I have recently aquired a peugeot road frame. I have looked through many of the other similar posts and have been able to identify numbers and points of recognition. However I am unfamilar to some of its meaning.
the serial number on the rear drop outs is:B10361237
the label on the bottom bracket: 1441663
UO10M 63

But most Importantly. . .
I am also in need of a seat post replacement. I am not aware of what size it coujld be and am almost finished building it.

I will try and post photos soon.

I am new to this part of the cycling community, and want to learn everything i can.

Thanks!
Andrew

here are some photos of the frame.

Going by the stamping, I'm pretty sure you have a 1981 UO-10 "Super Sport". What colour is it? Black? Does it have the checkerboard decal on the seat tube? There are a few Peugeot-philes here at BF - hopefully they can tell you more...

EDIT: I used to have a UO-10. It was black and it was a Canadian-made version, model "Super Sport". You may have the made-in-France model, which explains the "Course" decal.

Take it to a bike shop and get it measured. If it's a 24.0(likely) I may have one for you. I have not seen one for sale ANYWHERE new. Lemme know.,,,,BD

thanks for your input you two. ive dug in and read alot about these bikes, i think it may be a 26.8 or something close to that. taking it into a shop is a good advice as well. Thanks again.

A Carbolite-tubed Peugeot would not take a 26.8 post. That size usually turns up on bikes of Japanese origin, typically ones with double-butted chromoly tubes.
