Diamondback "Interval"?

Anyone ever seen or had one? I am wondering about frame material, components, etc. Entry, mid, or?,,,,,BD

This is a vintage, not the newer type. Steel frame with level top tube...

From: Puyallup Washington

Bikes: Motobecane Mirage fixed gear, Nashbar Alpha Road 5000, Bianchi Grizzly, Coppi Fiorelli, , Schwinn Trike, , GT All Terra, Old Peugeot, Nishiki 3 speed, Bugatti, Cannondale Black Lightning, Dura All, Bianchi Touring, Bridgestone T700 & more

I had a Diamondback roadbike for a bit. I dont remeber the model though. It was way to big for me so a I never rode it. At the same time I had a "Centurion Ironman Dave Scott" They were nearly identical exept the components and the paint. They were both REALLY bright though. Even had the same tubing and forged dropouts. I think it was Tange #2 tubing if my memory serves correctly. The Diamondback had a flawless white Exage group and a white Turbo saddle that I took before I flipped the frame. I believe Centurion and Diamondback are one in the same so its probably not bad.

My 2 cents,
Kelly D

This one looks a little newer than the Dave Scott's. Simple understated graphics, and black paint. No bright screaming colors. The crank is black with silver rings. It may be a little small, but components and wheels would be nice enough I guess.,,,,BD

Is it an interval or an Interval TG? The Interval is from 1990 and was 2nd from the the bottom of the line and cost $430 US. it was lugged steel, though I'm not sure of the brand and model. Could be tange #2 as previously suggested. The Interval TG replaced it in 1991. It used slightly oversized Tange CrMo tubing and was TIG welded and cost $487 US. Both years came equipped with Shimano 500EX.
