DarronB has a great spark. Has a ride-board sticky ever been suggested? Clearly there'd be a lot of trust involved, but maybe it would be workable for regular and recognizable BF members to say 'heading from NY to DC this weekend' or say, I dunno....heading from Scottsdale to Brooklyn and can deliver CL Panasonic DX-2000 to jebensch no problemo.

Just a thought. They do it with dogs so with bikes you wouldn't even have to pull over to let the steel take a leak.
