Top
(Throughly sick of winter, and willing to share his dyspepsia with friends)

To show East Hill that I am very much real... I'm in the same boat with Top.

Winter is killing (and fattening) us here in Northern New England.

Top, do you have the salt ready for today's next round of wintery mess? :(

I appreciate C&V more than ever now that home construction takes up most of my free time. This is my favorite spot to unwind after a day in the mud, wet & cold of our building site. Don

Agreed, I was very disapointed with my first experience here, (fixed and single). this thread seems like it is inhabited by adults.

I am in the process of reviving my 1972(3?) Raleigh Super Tourer after and EXTREMELY dissapointing affair with a modern aluminum bike.

Pics to follow.

Hi dorkhead! You will never be treated as if you are a troll here in C & V--it's just not our style. Good to see that you know photos are a must here!

Welcome to BikeForums, by the way :D .

Thanks, glad to be here.

Anecdote- while at my LBS yesterday, I was witness to the delivery of a $12,000 bicycle.....whoa.

It did not appear to contain any sort of metal in its construction whatever.

I would have said the exact same thing a year ago, having just finished the building process 3 months ago.
C&V helped to keep me going while all my bikes and other things were packed away in storage. When you can't ride, wrench or flip for whatever reason, this is the best place to be. Thanks y'all. :)

A bit late, but I wanted to throw my two cents in. This forum has been a boon to me. I have enjoyed meeting USAZorro (and swapping a few odds and ends with him) and Redneckwes who has been so generous with trades with me. In fact, I blame him for the severely impacted basement I have now.

Always a pleasure and always useful. Thanks everybody.
