Paramount pricing help

Hey folks, I have a Paramount I'm preparing to sell and am stuck on pricing so I'm coming here for help. Serial #A73157 all chrome 55cm frame/fork. It's real clean with the only pitting being on top of the bottom bracket at the tube juncture plus a few minor scuffs here and there. I'd rate it an 7.5/8 out of 10. I'm also inlcuding the installed Campy headset and a rather rough Campy crankset.

I'll be listing this on our "for sale" forum hopefully by Thursday evening once I get a handle on a fair asking price.

Thanks for any and all help.

Without wheels, derailleurs, shifters, bars, stem, levers, calipers, BB, cables, casings, and PICTURES, about $200. Show us what you have and the problems the frame has. Makes helping you out that much easier. Thanks for stopping by to ask.

I'd guess it'd bring more than $200. on ebay; looks like the racing model based on clamp on rear cable housing.

Yes, also the lack of eyelets and the curve of the fork identify it as the P13 road racer.

Bikes: 19 road bikes & 1 Track bike

Looks beautiful. I think it will sell quite high.
And I think it would be quite easy to re-plate back to perfect condition.
Check out the before and after photos of the chrome on this Frejus restoration:

Bikes: 1 trek, serotta, rih, de Reus, Pogliaghi and finally a Zieleman! and got a DeRosa

there's some rust evident on the frame as well as a distinct lack
of red pin stripes (not to mention decals) .
In addition it's a hair too large (say 1cm?) so I'd say it's worth $50.
Since I'm a nice guy I'll give ya $100 for it.

I wish it was the correct size for Mrs. K, who is just a bit taller than East Hill. She must have the Paramount bug, as she said she would like a chrome one to go with mine!

I'm buying an '83 Standard from mrmw who lives in the Atlanta area. I lived there for over 10 years until 2001 and still have many family and friends connections there, so go to visit occassionally. I thought it would be nice to have an OK bike to leave there to ride when I do visit (next week). So brousing CL I spot a nice Schwinn for $250 and call about it which leads to a conversation about this bike and that we know each of the from C&V! mrmw gave me a great deal and has been fantastic to deal with. Hopefully we can work in a ride together one day next week.

off topic:
Your '83 Standard is now the last layover. The '78 Fuji Sports 10 left yesterday with a lad of 14 who loves Fuji's and prefers friction shifting, its departure preceded by four others who left over the last few weeks.

Once yours is gone, I'm thinking of changing part of the garage into a home theater, there's so much room out there now.
