Ah, I just got back from a week on the gulf, and boy, I'm glad that that bike is no longer for sale. That was beautiful. and not in my price range at all. Whew. Nice to have you on board, Ray.

Hey there Ray. Here you get more than 3 posts a day, and instant visual gratification. :D Looking forward to pics of whatever you're currently working on.

So Ray, any pointers on setting up a photo studio environment in my garage? It would be extremely nice to be able to photograph bikes without the variability of outside light and conditions

Have you looked at his site? It is explained pretty thoroughly there.

Just checked your site out, thanks for sharing. So what's your everyday ride?

Someone probably just got their dream bike. Like Lotek, I am glad it was not in my size.

Those images were so nice made me even think about it, and its too big...

But Lynn, I thought (while also too big), the LeJeune that velostuf has on ebay offer was more your style) If that one was a true 56 ctt and had the white block lettering... I too would be tempted by that one. His is true NOS, out of the box but still wrapped!

My question is Why would that happen?

Somehow passed that over! Many thanks, have exactly the setup I hope to achieve.

Up until about two years ago, when I hit 240 lbs., my daily ride was this 89 Carbitubo:

Realizing that I was pushing my luck and the limits of aluminum-to-carbon fiber-adhesion, I switched to my next youngest bike, an 86 De Rosa:

You can see more of this bike here:

The De Rosa handles great, but I confess that I miss the comfort of the Carbitubo. But pushing 270 at the moment, it'll be a while before I can go back to the Carbitubo (but I will be back!)

BTW, while browsing the different forums here, I discovered that I am a "Clydesdale"! Too funny! I got a kick out that.

Ray

PS - I will be shooting the De Rosa over again. I didn't realize what a strong yellow cast it has. I am learning as I go...

Clyde too. I love turning those big gears on the flats but need my bailout for the hills out here. So your garage must be a real headbanger.
