Fortunately it's one of the more common 27.2mm sizes so there's plenty of choices out there. I have the post and stem used for the build up for sale if you're interested. Just check the links in my sig.

Thanks...it gives me something to think about. I don't know that wet black is the right color for my bike, since mine's still stock, but it gives me something to think about.

My '95 2300/2120

Beautiful restoration!

The 2300 frame in '95 had polished aluminum. I bought this one new with 1995's 2120 components which had a triple up front. This has mostly all orig parts except for the shifters, tape and tires. I'm in the middle of doing a mini-restore on it.

Trek really nailed a classy look that year. I'm proud to have emulated it.
