Did you give out any personal info? I'd be skeptical just because it's much easier (and cheaper) for them to e-mail you a coupon/gift certificate code than to call you and physically mail something.

Yeah, why didn't they just credit your Paypal account? Just be careful that in order to collect on it you're not duped into entering sensitive information.

I got one, but ignored it. I just don't trust anything of this type, cynical? Yes, for $10, or even $50. getting hacked or hijacked is just too much bother and risk.

ebay has not met expectations lately, the recession has hit perhaps and they raised fees I am told for sellers and the "options". Also, they have modified categories a bit when I last looked, Cycling comes under sporting goods, outdoors... I guess they never heard of an indoor velodrome.

So it goes.

That is definitely conslation enough for me... I would just end up getting more bike tuff anyway, and have to figure out what to do with it... :)

I haven't yet... But I mostly buy, and rarely sell, so maybe they figure I don't need enticement to buy.

Anyway, I think these are legit-- you log into paypal to pay, and then enter the promotional code they give you.
