Frame Identity Help -- CDI
I bought a frame today that I need help finding more info on. It's steel, marked "CDI" and "Made in Italy" and seems to be from the '70s. It shares a lot of characteristics with my old Italvega: identical cable guide braze ons, identical rear dropouts, same unusual two-piece bottom bracket shell.
I've done a pretty good bit of searching and have come up blank. Has anyone heard of this marque? I wondered if it were built by Torpado since it's so similar to my Italvega, but I haven't found any mention of iit in any material on the Torpado factory.
Any help would be appreciated. I'm especially curious about the construction. The frame has no markings as to tubing, but it seems too light to be plain steel.
Two VERY bad photos attached.
