Where to buy Campy axles?

I need to respace an old Record hub from 120mm to 126 and am having a little trouble finding the axle and preferably the spacers too. Does anyone stock compatible axles or do I need to find used/NOS ones? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have an extra NOS one that I picked up in Europe a couple of months ago that I'm willing to sell. It measures 134.2mm which will give you 4.1mm per side. As far as spacers that should not be a problem at any local bike shop. PM me if you are interested.

Loose screws used to carry them, and they used to be pricey, probably astronomical now. Can't check their site here at work, the firewall seems to think it's some porno site, or sumthin'....just *bike porn*, man...
edit: a little cheaper than I remembered, $14.95

So the Loose Screws site says "Campy 6 (and narrowly spaced 7) speed" for 10x26x134mm - I thought all 7 speeds were narrowly spaced?

Some lower end (Sora, RX100, etc.) 7 speed groups came out after STI and are therefore spaced at 130mm.

I've purchased the Campy universal axle from Loose Screws and cut it to fit the dropout. At $7 it's a deal but no keyway: https://www.loosescrews.com/index.cgi...d=130312828113

You're right. It was the six speed freewheels that were available in standard 5.3mm and ultra 5mm spacing. Seven speed freewheels were only made with 5mm spacing.

Hi,
.
Try: https://www.universalcyclecentre.co.uk/indexhome.htm
.
He's in the UK but the rear 126mm Campy Record axle plus
cones, keyed washers, locknuts, et al, cost me around US$20
(US$ cash) including shipping, if memory serves. At the time
I bought it (2006), it was alot cheaper than eBay and eBay
wasn't turning up many.
.
The guy there is also nice and helpful, the rule not the
exception for Brits.

Another question I had not thought of. Do I put 3mm spacers on each side, or is the 6/7 speed freewheel going to need more of less space than that? I don't have the freewheel to judge by, and I'd rather not have to respace and redish if possible.
