mystery leather saddle.
I picked this up a while back along with an old "Belt" saddle and a Brooks B-15 (which I ride on almost every day). They were all $2 each
I have no clue as to the manufacturer/model, thought you guys/gals might be able to shed some light on it.

The flash/lighting makes it look like it is in rough shape, but it is actually pretty nice.

How thick is the leather? I went downstairs to see how it compares to an Ideale I have on one of my bicycles. You can scratch that as a possibility.
Wrights usually had an embossed stamping on the leather, so I'm guessing that isn't it either.

The leather is thicker than my Brooks, smoother on the outside, rougher on the inside.

Another strike against it being a Wrights.

Could it be a recovering of an old frame? Are there any stampings in the underside of the aft support? Some of my Brooks are stamped. My Ideale has a black frame. My Belt is clearly embossed in the side of the leather like a Brooks or Ideale.

No stampings whatsoever. It has a nice flange around the edges, and it looks like it was made very well, not a single crack on the whole thing... I just don't want to throw it on one of my bikes that I use around town, especially if it is some sort of "classic" or "hard to find" saddle that would be better used on someone's restoration/classic ride.
