dia compe 287 hood for suntour lever?

These dia compe 287 hoods look like they'd fit my suntour cyclone levers. Does anyone have any first hand experience with these as replacements for old aero lever hoods?

no, but i've got some 287v's and some old modolo levers in the parts bin. I'll let you know how they like each other.

I had them on my Suntour Superbe Pro Aero levers and when they wore out, I went to the Tektro hoods. Seemed a better fit.

Somewhat related, I have a set of Dia Compe 152 brake levers that need new hoods. Does anyone have any suggestions for replacements?

Answering my own question, and perhaps the original poster - is it possible that new hoods are still available that would fit? New replacement parts look like they may be still available here. Does anyone know if they would fit the vintage brake levers like the 152s?
