Ebay woes

I cannot possibly describe the depth of my... despair? ...nor the darkness settling into my soul.

For having missed out on this classic, at that price:

https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=002

I weep.

Bikes: 1967 Paramount; 1982-ish Ron Cooper; 1978 Eisentraut "A"; two mid-1960s Cinelli Speciale Corsas; and others in various stages of non-rideability.

But think of how much you saved in emergency room visits and general lost productivity.

OK. So it's late at night, you long should have gone to bed, but you can't sleep so you are channel surfing and you run across some grade B, no make that a grade C or D or F, movie from the 1950's in which Humankind, in complete madness, has committed near total thermonuclear destruction and only a handful of irradiated mutants still crawl about on the charred remains of our dear plant Earth squabbling with each other over the very few orts of ghastly tasting food left to fight over.

This is the bike they would build.

And if they built two of them, they would hold a race.

The winner, of course, gets the remaining food scraps.

I have actually had two of them and they are a hoot to ride but the neighborhood kids keep buying them. Roger

I found those quite tricky to master, but once you have them they're soooo much fun!

What is worse is that I know of someone who owns one. Used it to train her kids to ride unicycles, I believe.

Bikes: 2018 Ghost Square Trekking B2.8 e-bike; 2015 MEC Cote gravel/touring bike; 1985 Boyes-Rosser tourer, now outfitted as Winter Trundle-bike

What the heck is that, a unicycle with training wheels??

Edit: dang, someone else already said that. D'oh. Sorry.

I'm curious, though, how do you even ride that? I can't make sense of the geometry. It must be taller than I think it is.
