Lauterwasser Bar Help

Is there such a thing as a 23.8mm to 25mm or 25.4mm shim? I just got a pair of Lauterwasser bars but I can't seem to find a stem to match. I tried the beer can trick but I would need to wrap the aluminum around the bars 4 or 5 times in order for them to get tight in the stem. I also tried wrapping an aluminum hose clamp strip around the bars but the aluminum was too thick to handle.

If anyone has any other tips to help me get these bars to mount on my bike please chime in.

* The bike is a 80's Raleigh with standard headtube and 1" threaded headset
* I have several stems 25.4, 26.0 and 26.4mm stems lying around. If I can use one of these to mate with the bars the better.

Thanks,
Jason
