Can you tell me if this bike is worth any $$
This is a peugeot my husband bought secondhand and rode for several years. Carbolite 103 by PEUGEOT. Thinking about getting rid of it...is it worth anything?
Thanks for any info!! .............Sorry about the picture sizes!

Pictures are so...tiny.
Edit: with the bigger pics, I believe it's a 1984 PH10L.

If you are in a larger city, and if the bike needs no major work (rides good and straight, wheel hub axles spin nice and smooth, crank spindle spins nice and smooth, headset is smooth, no roughness or tendancy to stay in one direction, wheels spin straight with no wobble, tires are pumped up, no leaks, and have good tread, no rusty spots, paint nice and shiny, etc), then the bike would probably fetch $50-$100 on your local Craigslist, possibly more in larger metropolitan areas near big Universities. If you are rural or small town, good luck on selling for more than $20 or $25.

I didn't even see the thread before the pictures were increased in size... and this was still funny!

Based on the new pic if you are in a metropolitan area put it on craigslist and ask $150, you should be able to get it.

Just in case the OP reads this thread again... it isn't you! You did nothing wrong, we have to blow off steam once in a while.
There have been threads where we have playfully discussed charging for our appraisal services.
You actually gave us more information to go on than most people do.
The rest of you... STRAIGHTEN UP, WE HAVE COMPANY!!!!
EDIT: You would be sorry if we chased off someone who could have easily become one of us when they discovered that they can have a nice bike for $200. Lord knows, I need someone to keep me from buying #17
EDIT AGAIN: Wait #17 and 18 are in the works, I mean I don't need #19.

If that bike was my size I'd be willing to buy it for $150 if all it need was a chain and some minor work.

Not sure, but it appears that the fork is bent. The line of the fork blades and head tube do not look correct.
I would also feel the top tube and down tube for "bubbles" in the material, especially near the weld where they meet the headtube. Also, dropping the fork out and examining the steerer tube and fork crown would be warranted.
