Campagnolo c record seat post question

I wonder if anybody is familiar with what looks like a number on c record seat post? In this case it looks like number ¨1¨. The seat post is from a Benotto TT bike from 1988 that comes with a full c record group.
I tried to take some photos of the seat post.

I don't think it means too much but it might be associated with the mold? As in the molds might have been numbered? I dunno, there are similar markings on my super record post.. never thought much of them.
