Inner Tube Bar Tape...

Here's the picture of the Fuji's handlebars, snugly wrapped in old innertube. Enjoy!

Do they make your hands smell like rubber? Looks comfy.

Did that before, comfy, but yes, somewhat stinky.

I'd think they'd make your hands pretty dirty, too, unless you run the rubber through the washer first (but don't tell the spouse!).

Looks like your a big fan of the old tubes. Got a top tube protector too? I had the same idea. They make so so rubber bands too.

I haven't noticed much trouble with smells or stains. I did wipe the tubes down first, and I do usually wear gloves (road rash preventative!), but very comfy indeed. Yes, the top tube protector is of the same stuff. What can I say? Cheap and handy wins the day for me.

I wrap cotton tape over the tube wrap. All the comfort, none of the odor.

Sounds like an advertising slogan.
