Is this bike worth it?

i was looking into getting a vintage bike kind of like this one in the link. I was going to convert it into a fixed gear bicycle. I don't know anything about prices and don't want to get ripped off so is this bike worth $100 dollars?

Bikes: Bridgestone '90 RB-1, Giant TCR Alloy, 90's mountain bikes galore.

In DC, $100 for a Peugeot road bike with NO RUST is a fair price.

Bikes: Mostly English - predominantly Raleighs

For where you are - that's well worth it.

Appears to be a good value. For $100, what the heck, give it a try.

I have two Peugeots myself right now.

I bought one of those when new -- my first road bike. The picture is not so clear, but I recall that the bike has too many braze ons for the clean look you likely want to acheive. I would try a bike about ten years older, plus or minus, with no braze ons. The Peugeot is not a bad deal (in good condition), if you decide to buy it.
