Does anyone know where I might find information about Dawes' back catalogue? They seem to have a slightly sullen attitude to the internet, giving more space to product recalls than they do to enthusiasm for their bikes.

I've been given a rather gawky but strangely beautiful Dawes Cougar mountain bike, in need of a little work but sound enough. I'm not a purist but I'd like to have an idea of what it looked like originally.

Any clues will be much appreciated.
