Frame ID - Who is "GS"?

Hi,

it's a nice lugged steel frame and seems to be from early 90's. The fork crown has this GS panto. Does anybody know who built this frame?

Simonetti used a similar fork crown (without the panto) on the Medici bikes.

The first thing I thought when I saw the pic was GS Mengoni. Do you think that maybe Fred Mengoni had team bikes built at one time? He certainly had the connections in the bike racing world.

The frame is located in Germany, Gian Simonetti would be surprising.
