Kabuki Hilltopper

I asked about this bike on the touring thread, so excuse the "double" posting. Does anybody know about these bikes? Were they only built in the 70's or are they still building these today. I can't find any information at all about this bike except for a review from the mid 70's. Any information from some of you that are more in the know would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Here is what Sheldon had to say about Kabuki: https://www.sheldonbrown.com/japan.html#kabuki

I have a Kabuki Super Speed. It isn't a high end bike, but I enjoy riding it. I have converted mine to a 3 speed.
