Record Components Available
I thought I'd give you guys a heads up. There is a bike on Craiglist near D.C., a 70's or 80's Derosa, that has been damaged, asking price is $300 and the bike supposedly has Record components and Mavic wheels. I am getting pictures of the components sometime tomorrow. Here is the link to the ad.....

Bikes: Crap. The box is not big enough...
I cannot see the brakes well enough, but they look like SR or Croce rather than delta. The rest of the parts appear to be early C-Record, and easily worth the price alone.
The frame can be repaired, but then I think that it would become a labor of love, rather than an opportunity for profit. I think that one would be, well, $125 for the downtube, $75 for straightening, $300 for a complete repaint, $75 or so for decals, or about $900 for a fully restored DeRosa Professional. I'd guess about that much for one on eBay...
