Mixte is coming along

Sorry Easthill but no pictures. There is a story to this (much like all of my endevours) Mrs. Stringbreaker and I planned to get all the yardwork done yesterday ( Saturday) and ride today, well we got the yardwork done ok, spent the day mowing, edging, weeding and tilling, you get the picture. So this being my weekend for usher duty at Church the plan was after the last service to go on a 30 mile ride just doing the Foothills trail to South Prairie and back. When I got home at 1:00 pm I found Mrs Stringbreaker laying on the bed bemoaning the fact that her neck was killing her. I almost (notice I said almost) told her to suck it up I wanna ride. I didn't though, I'm smarter than I look. So since I had the day and the new Panaracer Paselas came yesteday in the mail I mounted them up and then after that I installed the brake levers and hooked up the cables and housing. The pink really looks good with that green frame. Next its the derailleur stuff after mocking up all the cable housing lengths with some old black cable housing I had on hand then I cut the pink housing wrap the bars and get her on the road. Then I will post the pictures of a smiling and hopefully pain free wife. After she visits the chiropracter tomorrow. Should be ready to ride this week sometime. The moral of this story is that we should have waited till today to do yardwork and ridden yesterday. HMMM live and learn

Bikes: Nishiki Nut! International, Pro, Olympic 12, Sport mixte, and others too numerous to mention.

Poor Mrs. Stringbreaker! I was busy mowing lawns/trimming/you name it both yesterday and today, and I still got in a nice ride today .

Perhaps we need to rendezvous next weekend so that we can show off Imperials?
