Value of Campy Super Record Group

Hey guys, I have an opportunity to purchase a complete Vintage super record group and I was wondering how much I should offer for the set. The parts include a Rear Derailler, downtube shifters, brake levers, brakes Cranks, chainrings, wheelset with mavic rims, 2 extra hubs, but no front derailler. The parts are off of an 80's roadbike and the guy said they're in pretty good condition. Ill be getting some pics of parts and i'll post them as soon as i get them.

Tell him to set a price for you - or at least, a price to bargain from. I make it a point to tell folks that "I do not make offers."

If they are motivated to sell - as I would expect someone selling such a set to be - they will pipe up if you become disinterested/leave/change subject/etc.

$175? Don't tell me where to find him if you still want that groupset.

In short: GRAB IT.

$175? What's the catch? Sounds too cheap to me. They're not glowing with nuclear radiation, are they?
