miyata 310
hi all,
i found a miyata 310 on craigslist and am wondering if it is worth the asking price of $90.00?

the description reads:
"HERE IS A NICE OLDER ROAD BIKE HARDLY EVER RODE AND IN AS MADE WHEN NEW CONDITION. TOP BAR LENGTH 54CM CENTER TO CENTER AND STAND OVER IS 79CM. 12 SPEED SHIMANO SHIFTER GEAR, ALLOY COTTERLESS CRANKSET AND CHAINWHEELS, CHROME MOLLY 1024 BUTTED TUBE FRAME AND FORK."
i emailed to see about a year or what not. i don't know much about miyata to know if that is a good price. the picture isn't all that great though, so i'm not sure if it will be much help. any help or insight would be greatly appreciated though!
thank you!

I would guess that its 1983 model; see https://bp0.blogger.com/_whtVpXkKwlQ/...0-h/img042.jpg
The frame is double butted Cr-Mo with a Hi-Ten fork. The 310 was the in the middle of the sport series, below it would have been the 90 and 110 (the 210 was part of the touring line). Worth having a look in person.

In good condition that would be a steel, at least in the philly market. Buy it, you know you want it ,you can aford it, you have room for ,it you need ,it buy ,it buy it now. I may have a problem.

I have owned a 310 since 1984, and I think that one is worth checking out. I like the frame a lot. The handlig is quick, without jarring your fillings. $90 is pretty good deal.
