Building a time appropriate bike

I am thinking about buying a frame from the 80's, just a frame not a frame and fork, and was wondering if there are good websites with old parts like old campy groupsets and forks and wheels? Anybody have some good suggestions?

Ebay is great. If you're looking for something in particular you might try posting in the ISO/WTB thread here.

Guess it depends on exactly what you are trying to do and what kind of frame. New high end forks in chrome as would be appropriate for the 80's are hard to come by but they are out there if you look around. Otherwise eBay is a good bet. 80's frames are also good for retro-modern build ups so again it depends on what you want to do. There is no one stop shop of vinatge parts unfortunately. If there were we'd have bought out their inventory already and they'd be out of business anyway. Cafe de Velo, Velo Retro, Yellow Jersey, Mel Pinto Imports, Bicycle Classics and probably many others are all good places to check but there is no guarantee that they'll have any particular part at any given time. eBay is probably your best bet.
