Nice, very nice. Both of them. Hope I get to see them in the flesh someday. L'eroica perhaps?

Hi Pullup
Very nice Zieleman I have more or less similar idea with a Zieleman I own: a gold theme. Funnily enough my frame came also from the Groningen area. Through the eyes of someone in Amsterdam the other end of the world , but I like going to Groningen.
Next to the French cockpit I do also have gold MAFAC centrepulls ready for it. For many other parts I plan to rely on (1st gen) Super Record.

I looked for those and i even saw the gold mafac levers go for 50 euro on marktplaats last month with lots of bidding.
You are selling the pretty RIH ?
@ nonfixie: Yeah yeah but even when I was 20 those gravel hills on a 42/19 would have been tough

...and I have the gold Simplex Retrofrictions and SLJ derailleurs!
...I also happen to love Dutch bikes...so...sounds like one of these Dutchmen with a penchant for gold french bits, needs to come off a Zieleman or Presto for some trading!

The number is 791 43, which apparently indicates sometime in the 70ies. But it has welded on wireguides, which is not normal for a bike from that era, if I am to believe our experts here.
I've compiled a list of the RIH's I've found so far on the internet - the ones built in Amsterdam or Groningen, that is - so I could do some educated guesswork regarding build dates. Some of you will recognise your bikes. It would be nice to expand this list.
I have two bikes to add to the list. I'm a Newbie on this forum, so I apologise in advance for any errors I may do.
I am riding the one bike and it is my favourite.
The other bike is a restoration project in progress.
Is anyone still actively working on this list?

I would feel confident when buying from him. With those pics it is plausible he does really have the decals. There is a phonenumber and he is near a lot of his audience (Almere-Amsterdam 10km or so). Around Christmas post is a bit slow and moreover post suffered from privatisation. Quality dropped, prices went up and respected postmen became slaves in marginal jobs the dogs don't like bread of. Staff comes and goes. You face your decals are slow, but overhere it became sort of common practice that I can expect Christmas cards coming in until summer - if I am lucky and they are not floating in a canal. I think in Germany you postponed this proces several times and maybe you should think over twice before really entering.

Hi Kylian,
I think it is the same guy I ordered the Presto decals from last year when I was considering repainting my Presto. He should be legit.
He was really friendly and even send me some extra sets together with some Zieleman sets.
Actually I only used the Presto head tube decal in the end because the painter had the masks of the other ones.
If contacting him fails I can help you out with a set as I am sure I won't be using them.

Bergh Sport Amsterdam
Bought yesterday. There is not much known about this fantastic frame manufacturer but does someone knows more about the brand and his models?

As I said in the thread you opened that is very pretty bike in a colour I like very much and with super cool lugs.
It will be tough finding people that know more about this brand. maybe Wim van der Kaay from Rih would know or Henk Faanhof?

@Fiets: I know of at least one of the guys at MacBike on the Marnixstraat in Amsterdam who knows how and where to contact Van der Kaay (and Paul van Warmerdam probably does as well). So if you in Amsterdam some time soon, I suggest you pay a visit to those guys. They would love to see you classic!

rene rosendahl really knows. he told me before about bergh. Jan Legrand from presto learned bike building from jaap van de bergh. funny that in those days alot of the brands were connected in way as theacher-apprentice.

There's a good story about Jaap van den Bergh building a frame in his workshop, and this includes a horse, but I don't quite remember the story so maybe it's better someone else digs that up?
