Campagnolo Avanti

I guess this would classify as Classic & Vintage, but I'm not entirely sure. I recently received a Campagnolo Avanti groupset from a friend of mine, and the Ergo levers are unlike anything I've ever seen before. The thumb trigger is one piece with the other shift lever. Does anyone have any idea of what year it may have been manufactured in? Also, I've heard that Avanti was the equivalent to the current Mirage groupset in Campagnolo's lineup, can anyone verify?

Hi,

Avanti was built from 1995 to 1998. Until 1997 the Ergopowers were different from the 'normal' Ergopower.
It was the lowest level Campagnolo group at that time.
