Nickel and Diming me to death
My STing-Ray is a great looking bike, but every time I fix something, something else breaks within 3 months. I fixed the gooseneck a few months ago, and today, while I was very far from home, my front fender came extremely loose, I have yet to fix it because my dad lost many of my tools,

Found the tools, fixed it.
I bet something else will go wrong soon though, I've had dozens of small things go wrong with this bike, still looks great though

Treat your bike's maintenance the way you deal with it on your cars. When you change the oil, don't you also check the other fluids, look at the belts/hoses/tires etc.? And look underneath, do a general safety check thing? Combining tasks gives the best result to time involved ratio.
It doesn't take much time to tighten every fastener on a Stingray at one swoop. If you do it once a month you'll be back here bragging on how reliable the bike is.

Yeah, I haven't ridden her in a while though, this is the first week I've ridden so much in a while, the problem is all the very worn out parts, 30 year old bike, all original exceppt for the chain and gooseneck (chain made a HUGE difference in the ride). THere is a big holoe in the front fender and I think I'll need a bidder washer soon, I guess htats the Rambler Mentality in me.
Everybody loves my bike though
