Black PX10

Dr. Deltron should be here any minute with my PX10. I'll post pictures. He's making a two hour drive to bring it to me. What a guy!

Sorry I took so long. We were talking bikes and installing headset cups. I couldn't resist installing the Edco BB and chrome Record triple after Mark left. Any smudges you see are not in the paint. It's just grease. I'm going to wax it before I do any more assembly.

Why can't all Peugeots look like that?

The chainline is a perfect 45mm with the Edco BB offset 1mm to the non drive side.

Can somebody tell me what size balls to use in my Stronglight Competition headset?

Reminds me of my old PX back in early 70s!
Mine was white and repainted it black with gold outlining on the Nervex lugs.

Sutherland's lists the V4, B10, P3 and S5, but nothing called "Competition." All of those mentioned take 25 5/32" balls, top and bottom. Beautiful job on the frame.

It just says Competition on it, but I think I've seen it listed on eBay as a Competition V4.

Thanks!

Mark does love to talk bikes! I wonder why he didn't offer to hand deliver Sporty to NH?

Your Peugeot is just dripping classy French style--- thanks to it's CA, USA super makeover! Look into all that black loveliness and we can't help but be swept off our feet!

Once again the trinity smacks a classic bike restoration out of the proverbial veledrome; DrDeltron+JRrestore+the Owner's imagination=Another Amazing Bike!!!!!! Enjoy!

JRestore didn't make those decals. They came from Yellow Jersey. I had to buy a double set and sell half to a BF member. He did make some "Super Champion" stickers for my rims and I'm very happy with them. He only charged me $5!

The bike means a lot to me. I bought it new and it got me through some lean times when I couldn't afford to drive a car. I've told the story before, but it was the first thing I grabbed when my house was on fire.

Beautificus!
I like the Campy triple with the Super Record rings. It's really too bad that they made the 36t ring so clubby looking.

That bike looks great!

FWIW, four years ago while still in college my apartment burned down while I was at work. The only thing I was left w/was my car and some clothes I had in it. It's a terrrible situation to be in, at least you were able to save something that is so dear to you.

Call me!!!

(831) 521-3801

Prices start at $1,000 and go up in $500 increments.
$750 deposit.
Turnaround time 1-2 years, depending on the weather.

There...

Now I'm being totally honest.
We'll see if it works any better than my current system.

Thanks for asking, Holiday76!

*grumble grumble grumble* that is way too beautiful. I am drooling coffee in a major way.

I also really wish I could get the Dr to paint my Bertin, but i think that necessitates having a job/income.

blah! bravo!
