Not C-Record - that is certain, C-Record was straight, not slant/drop parallelogram.
I won't say that it is Record either, but the finish of the inner cage would lead me to believe that is possibly the case. Then again, that may not be the original inner cage
Sorry I can't be of more help.

Humm, looks like an Athena but I think Athena RD said 'Athena' on them.

I am pretty sure it is record. It is a 1991 record RD AFAIK. Many people still refer to this era as C-record. Personally, I don't because I think the look of the original (although modified and changed even before the drop parallelogram model, but still retaining the basic look) defines C-record. However, aspects of the original group officially introduced in 1984 lasted till 1995. In 1991 there were still white hooded brake levers and delta brakes, DT shifters, the same seatposts, cranks, FDs, cup and cone BBs etc... still very much the same group with a new RD. Oddly enough the Century finish option retained the older derailleur design. I do not think it is incorrect to say it is C-record though the catalogue makes no mention of CORSA and just refers to the froup as record.
Edit: just saw Martl's edit.. ha, we're on the same wavelength.

Definitely Not C-Record, one generation later, as the body looks very similar to the Record OR, and in that generation, only details separated most derailleurs.
The latest Record with Delta brakes in the 1990 and 1991 catalogue (check the excellent https://www.velobase.org) has a derailleur in the design of your piece (the century on the same catalogue side has still the older design), but technically, that was already named "Record" only.
Your rear plate looks as if it isn't original and might have been taken off a Superrecord.
@cyclotoine: heh, just saw your posting too

thanks all. I checked velobase as well. I kept getting hung up on the plate, so maybe that part isn't original.
