RIP 1991 Trek 2100

Last sunday sprinting with about 50m to the line I got taken out and steerided into the steel barriers, surveying the damage afterwords my rear derailleur was ripped right from the hanger, all the threads are gone and its bent inward. To add insult to bicycle injury I broke my hand and cut it open pretty good right on the knuckles (stitches required), I also woulda finished in the top5 which woulda got me a final upgrade point I needed to move up to the elite 2 category, with no more races after my cast comes off looks like I have to start all over again next year.

anyone thinking of racing a beloved vintage bike may think twice about it; lotta carnage out there; I also got caught in a crash first race of the season on this bike and broke my fork.

If anyone has a 56 2100 frame they ever wanna sell hit me up!

PS: funny enough I drillium'd all my parts and nothing snapped in the crash!
