Pray for me
I found a light blue 3rensho in my size, two owner, perfect shape, with aero tubing (!?) on craigslist for $300. Someone else is going to look at it right now and if he doesn't buy it I'm next in line. You guys don't even understand how stressed out I am right now.

Around 57-59cm. Apparently the previous owner was my height and raced it in california for a while, then sold it to his friend, this guy, that never rode it.

Hrm, this is one of those ethical dilemnas. The bike is worth a lot more than that, would you have paid $600 for it? Probably, right? So, when you spoke to him, would it have been ethical to offer him $500 to hold it for you? Tough call but a 3Rensho in perfect shape and in one's size doesn't come along too often...
I am sorry you didn't get it.

It could probably be sold for 700-1000 or even more on ebay, but I didn't have the extra $$ to offer him anyway. Although I didn't get it, I do respect him keeping his word to the guy that got there before me. It was just bad timing I guess. I'm gonna go cry now or something.

Place an ad in Craigslist asking for a light blue 3rensho & offer $500. Who knows the new owner might be thrilled to turn the bike for a profit so quickly. He may not understand the value of the bike in the same way you do. Just a thought.
