loving this ride more and more every time

Just finished a headset service on my Le Tour 12.2 (red), and I just keep loving this bike more and more every time I ride it. The back wheel is laced like a harlot's corset, loose! so it makes a little noise when I weight the back wheel, since it is a townie, that is all the time. Or when I am standing up to make it up the hill to my house. It is pretty flexy, too. Had a couple of beers on friday and took it on a nitetime hill climb after dinner, it was great.
Originally I got it from the thrift store to flip it, once I figured out it was "my size" I was going to keep it in order to change out the frame with my SS roadie, the blue Le Tour, but it has just performed so well since I got it in working order, I'll keep them both! It's all original as far as I know, but I switched out the bars for some wider ones, huge difference, and I have a different saddle on it.

Great that you like it. Better to get that wheel tensioned up a bit. Too loose can lead to breaking spokes and bending rims.
